That's a benefit . . . if it works.

I have a Windows Me box that, every now and then M$ tells me needs
to be upgraded.

Every time I've tried it (3 or 4 times) it gets exactly 70% through
the installation of the upgrade, and then hangs - forever.

Finally, I cancel the installation of the upgrade, only to wait for
it to quit.  When it never does, I give it the 3-finger salute.

I'm glad I don't have to depend on M$ stuff for anything important.
