Brian's problem...

I lied
The changes made some differences.
ksh still fails beyond level 28 except 43 & 45, but the rreports nest
beyond 49 levels now, up to a new limit of 128. (at 128, trying to proceed
to 129 causes rreport to crash and exit)
and the ksh script works on many of the levels above 49, specifically:
1-28, 43, 45, 52, 64-101, 103, 104, 106-119, 121-125, 127
or it may be more meaningful to say ksh fails at the following levels:
29-42, 44, 46-51, 102, 105, 120, 126, 128
So the new MAXUP allows me further levels of nesting, but does not change
which levels fail even though some of the failing levels are low numbers
nowhere near.
There is something obscure going on here, not a simple matter of a limit
being reached. Some kind of alignment or pointer problem.
I'm in for a lot of tedious testing I guess.
I need to test other versions of fp on this box, then run the test on other
versions of sco, and linux.
and I guess I should try to build the latest version of ksh too.
