RWS @ Transpower said in one of the original emails....

RESPONSE TO Ken and John:

Wayne Smith took exception to this all this and in a hasty moment
....pounded out a email to the list yesterday with how instructions on how to send
plain text in AOL.

Now today Ken Brody is pointing out that the original email statement was
about AOL 8.0, and since I have AOL 9.0 SE, unfortunately I haven't used AOL
8.0 now in over a year or more, I can not answer how to send plain text in
that version. Oh yeaaa If the original poster had read all the scoop on
upgrading from 8.0 to 9.0 he would have noted that ver 9.0 is more for Windows XP
(32bit) and higher horsepower computers. Many folks tried getting the latest
and greatest AOL ver 9.0 only to be thwarted because of computer
resourses.....which as we all know can cause mysterious errors.

I sure don't want to start a flame war over email issues, I was just trying
to HELP in an area where I thought I could. I am destined to BURN IN
AOHELL...{S firetruck} Thats a wav file you can use in AOL from Vers 3.0 to
9.0...chuckle.
