Well, if 10 DIF files import just fine, but this 11th one doesn't, there is
obviously something different about this file.  (I'm not sure why you think
changing the filePro processing will eliminate a "not a valid DIF file"
error.)

Do you get this error on the first record, or some record within the file?
If it's on the first record, it may be in the header.  If it happens on one
of the record in the file, then it's something specific to that record.
