Gee, ya think? You don't even want to KNOW how hard I hit the ceiling
yesterday when we've already made the decision to go with DSL (at -least-
lite), and bought the router, and then our niece calls -us- yesterday and
tells us nonono, just get them BellSouth's dialup with their call waiting.
I pretty much went thermal and refused to even deal with the whole
situation for a day. Apparently they saw reason on their own and are still
going with our recommendation.
Hey, I don't care really...I didn't want to be involved, but if I -am-,
and if I'm doing the work, let me make the calls. If someone's going to
second-guess my calls, here, take the bloody system and equipment and stop
wasting my time having me do the work. *growl*
They're family, I love them, but I am -highly- annoyed yet--even though
they've come to their senses. I'm more annoyed with my niece than
them though.

I must have missed that. I don't always have reason to catch up on
hardware vendor news, mostly because I rarely have to deal with the
hardware side of things. If I do, it's usualy research for compatability.
I'm not sure I'd gotten into RSS by then, and if I had, I suspect I'd have
seen a blurb about it. I catch more (at least in summary) by having about
16 feeds up from various places. But I'd missed this tidbit entirely in
any event. Thanks.
Funny about them closing their retail stores. I kind of thought that would
bail after a short time.
