Why point out a shorter way to shoot yourself in the foot? If someone is
inexperienced enough to insist upon 0777 on a file, the least they should
have to do is work -very hard- to make the conscious effort to circumvent
the natural security that *nix permissions provide when used properly.
More likely is that they should be banished to Windows systems for the rest
of their days, where security is a joke as a matter of course. But
-assuming- they're going to stay on *nix, they really should be forced to
write far MORE lines to do what he's doing. By the time they finish with
more lines, there's the possibility they'd potentially realise what a
mistake they were making, and back the offending code out.
