OT: You just made yourself out to be a liar... the worst kind...

This is completely off-topic... but I had one of those experiences with a
lowlife today that needs disclosing...

Just thought some of you would like to see this little interchange.
I had never even thought to find the video of the recent beheading in
Iraq... but this asshole on the air made it sound imperative that everyone
should see it... that we _had_ to view it... just so we could all be aware
of exactly what it was. He talked on and on for hours about why everyone
should go to his site and view the full video, hear the screams, etc., etc.
He went on and on... very _forcefully_ and _powerfully_ about even though it
was horrific and gruesome, we all _should_ see it. I had never heard this
guy before and he sounded emotionally moved and extremely passionate about
this... so we decided to take his advice. We got home a few minutes after
his show and went to the site to look at the video, only to find it was not
really there. It was obviously just a scam to get listeners to go to his
site...  To sensationalize and exploit something like this horrible event,
is simply the lowest kind of pandering that can be done on the airwaves. It
is people like this guy who don't deserve to be on the air... Hell, they
should be forcibly removed. When are we ever all going to stand up and set
things to rights in this country??

Here is the letter I wrote to him after this distasteful experience... and
after is what he wrote back... You simply will not believe what he said...
unbelievable... He said seeing the video would probably make me happy!
Following after that is my final letter to him... hopefully, he will not
respond again. What a complete asshole... and Americans wonder why the
airwaves are full of jerks?  Because no one ever calls these morons out on
their shabby scams and tricks. Maybe someday we will be rid of this type of
lowlife, but not unless we all do something about it.

How unbelievably uncouth of you! You speak for two hours (or so) on the air
about why I should go look at this event... and then when I go immediately
to do it, your site conveniently says it really isn't there. Then you take a
snide, potshot at me because I inform you of how pandering and low class I
thought this was?  You really are something. You are pretty typical after
all. Worse, less than typical.. because you say _my_ worst has come out only
because I disclose the tawdry way you treated this entire subject...
protesting all the time how well you've handled it.  My estimation of you
was correct.... you're just another pissant with no ability to truly debate
with anyone who dares to show up your cheap tricks for what they are. I
don't know why I even bothered communicating what I felt after being so used
by you... maybe because your website requested all comments... regardless...
but you really don't want to hear anything you can't handle, do you?
Obviously not. Be careful, you can only fool people some of the time.

The problem is I am an intelligent American, educated, and concerned... able
to discuss things with anyone... so after I take what I thought was your
well-considered advice to view this item on your site, I find that I was
just  being pushed around by a bullshitting bully full of hype who is solely
out to sell his wares on the pain and suffering of others. To respond as you
did when all I did was comment on how you lied today, just to get people to
go to your site, shows that you have the insight and abilities of roughly a
fifth grader. Too bad, I had thought we had some things in common.

I had absolutely NO desire to see this gruesome and horrific act until YOU
so _forcefully_ and _powerfully_ convinced me today that I _should_ go see
it. To find out you were lying and there was nothing on your site to see,
was bad enough... to then be insulted by you when I simply call you the liar
that you are... you couldn't be more outrageous.  But be careful, Mike,
you're dealing with real people out here. To insult someone who calls you
out in a flat lie... exhibits clearly that you exactly similar to those you
love to rail on about. Funny, I actually thought you were different. My
prediction is you will not be on the air long. Not screwing your audience in
just the way you did to me and all of us who were listening today. You are a
liar and a panderer... and I know that pisses you off to hear... but truth
is truth.

The worst in people, huh? Look to yourself, sir.
