Array question

To Bill,
Bill, I've been getting stuff like this a whole lot lately... maybe since
Mailman, I'm not sure. But there is always an attachment on the email from
certain people... like this note. Is it from only people at aol? Is it
just my Outlook doing it... I don't think so.

I have converted the original email from html to text... I know not many
people on this list read html messages... but I try to once in awhile.

    Hey folks!

Is it possible to have a multidimensional array in filePro? For example,
DIM ARRAY["3","100"] meaning define an array that is 3 elements wide and
100
elements deep. I could not find an example of this structure in the help
files, so I wanted to ask the list.

    Thanks!

Unfortunately, no. I've been requesting multidimensional arrays for
filePro for years. I put the request in the Wishlist, under Matrix
Mathematics. Years ago I suggested the infix power function "^"; Ken
finally put it in. So, maybe in some future release, Ken will put in
multidimensional matrix mathematics.
