I've run across unsupported hardware in the past - and the client
got hosed when it came time to perform mandatory application
upgrades which required a newer version of the OS [SCO in the
past].

They were limping along until they spent $$$$ and totally scrapped
the old system. That was also a painful conversion. They were on
some variant of MaxSpeed that became an orphan also.

Since you are running now I'd really suggest you talk with your
client and get them off a depercated hardware. It is far easier
to make a smooth transition than have to perform crash installs and
debugging of the new install.

As time goes on you will find your 6.2 being further and further
out of date, and with it the conversion to something newer will
become more difficult.

I've been there.
