fp sql - does it have any short coming or problems

	I would say that, yes, fpSQL is a good product.  I have a couple of
customers using it.

	The main disadvantage is that it only supports a small subset of SQL
commands; I think something like 12 commands.  However, that has proven
adequate for my customers who like to design their own reports using SQL.

	Background:  I'm not a very good SQL programmer any more.  I haven't
done much with it since I was working on my masters degree.  Circa 1985, I
only learned enough about fPsql to show these customers how to use it.  It
was mostly installed because these customers had people who were proficient
at SQL.  They didn't want to bother to learn the filePro report designer,
which I consider MUCH superior to any SQL interface when it comes to
designing reports.

	If I were you, I would teach the users to use the filePro report
design system, rather than installing fPsql for them.
