Tony,
It does a decent job. We couldn't get along without it. It does
have a few "gotchas":
1) no support for memo or blob fields
2) certain queries (especially with dates or multiple comparisons)
appear to parse incorrectly or crash fpsql
3) limited support for JOINS
4) picky command editor (commands with keywords spanning the 80
character mark are seen as syntax errors, but you can have multi-line
commands as long as individual keywords/field names do not break)
5) difficult to use in batch mode due to the fact that it puts up
a warning message when no records are found instead of just exiting
(waits for <ENTER> to clear the message).
But despite these issues, we use it for 1,000-20,000 queries a day.
