On Wed, Jun 30, 2004 at 05:40:06PM -0400, after drawing runes in goat's blood,
George Simon cast forth these immortal, mystical words:
> I _don't_ have a problem. The program only breaks if the table is called
> from automatic. I can call it from several other places, including @entsel.
Then what was the complaint, if you don't have a problem? If there's no
problem, why are we even discussing it?
*confused*
Either:
1) Tables should be able to be called from automatic and still work, and
you -do- have a problem...
or
2) Tables should not be able to be called from automatic, and fP has a
problem since it lets you make the attempt anyway. Since I believe you
said it works if you comment out a certain line or three, it appears that
it's supposed to work. Which leads us back to option 1--you have a
problem after all.
First it was a problem, then it was just something you were playing with.
Okay, I can accept that. But then blithely ignoring the fact that there
may be a problem, and refusing to track it down at least as far as whether
or not it's a difference between 5.0.9/5.0.13 isn't right. Someday you may
not be "just playing with it", but may actually -need- it to work. Then
we're going to go through the whole thing again, probably. All when it
should just be addressed here and now, since you brought it up to begin
with.
The contradictions mount...
