UID question

On Tue, Jun 29 15:25 , while denying his reply is spam, David Johnson 
prattled on endlessly saying:

As others said - ignore it.  But here's a way to keep it from
nagging at you when you have UID's less than 500.

I guess no one else read the man pages from the other replies
I've seen, as it was not mentioned.

In /etc there is a file called login.defs.

Edit that with your favorite text editor by finding the field
labeled UID_MIN   500    and change the 500 to 200.

It's as simple as that.  There is no magic involved.

There are a few other things you can change and you can see them
when you edit it.
