doedit help

Jeff,

Thanks for the suggestions however even if I remove the edit on da it still
does not function. I have printed below the contents of the ascii file I am
importing from.

ACKN|11118
SEND|Submit Request


With no edits the data should be left justified, not? It still fails the
edit and db is blank.

Your suggestion to add [{!" "!}] to the beginning of my doedit I don't
understand. Where exactly should I add it and what does it do?
