Is it just me, or did Enrique Arredondo say:

Where would -I- personally do it? Yes, in processing. Nancy, I believe,
is talking about using the functionality of being able to grab the Field
Description from ddefine dynamically in processing. I know it -can- be
done, I just don't remember the syntax. That's if I'm reading her
correctly.
I'd just bypass that and code the tags into processing. I think data
relations and definitions at the database level should remain as static
as possible, even though the requested and desirable output could vary
radically from application to application and time period to time period.
That's probably more a philosophical point of view than something with
definite concrete computing theory behind it. To me it just makes more
sense to leave the database alone and change the behaviour for generating
output.
