Speaking of Gates and convenience stores brings to mind a story
from a long time ago - back before Bill's Billions were in the 3
digit range. Maybe even in the 1 digit range.

He was at a local store and getting some ice-cream, He couldn't
find his coupon that gave him 50 cents office, and spent awhile
looking for his coupon while all the customers behind him fumed
in anger and disgust. I don't recall whether someone behind him
offered to pay the 50 cents or not.

I think this was shortly after Micro Soft moved from Alberquerque
NM to Redmond.
