Sometimes the table gets a ghost password from copying, moving, etc. you
can try going into the Define Output mode for the offending file and use the
F8 function, go down thru the syntax and assign a new blank password.
That would be the first thing I would try.

We have been having a problem with passwords on output processing and I
was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so, what can we
do about it. Some of our output processing tables have acquired
passwords somehow. There are only 2 of us doing the programming (we do
not have any outside consultants) and we have not given passwords to
these tables. So, obviously, we can't get into the tables to modify
programs. Backups won't help as we had cycled through our 5 tapes
before we realized something was wrong. Not all of the processing
tables in any one file have passwords, only a few and it can occur on
automatic, input and/or output processing. I traveled to New York last
week to another one of our offices and they had the same problem there.
We recently converted from version 4.8 to 5.0 and the problem seems to
have happened after that time so we didn't know if there was a
connection.
