On WinE possibly. Personally I use "The Gimp" for most of my image
work, which is very little. If there were a situation that required
extensive work with imaging, multimedia, or publishing I'd suggest using a
Mac.
While Windows has a software of just about every conceivable type
ready off-the-shelf, it doesn't necessarily have the best, and it is
frequently disappointing. Few of them offer demos.
Its a matter of using the right tool for the job. Linux distros such
as SUSE have pretty much closed the gap in that respect, with the
exception of multimedia as mentioned above. So from a business
perspective it would be foolish to spend millions on Windows when you
could be using Linux for free. The exception to that of course would
be if your business specializes in Windows-only software.
