No, I wasn't wrong or WRONG Jay. I merely stated what I was trying to say
inadequately. It was (and usually is) unimportant to me what the browse key
actually holds, because the equals comparison (either = or eq) is not case
sensitive and that is what I was trying to impart. The test for @bk eq "a"
or @bk eq "A" is not going to discern any difference.

As Ken has reminded everyone, @bk _does_ actually hold the value of the last
key pressed. I should have tested that first, before putting up my
explanation. However, my explanation still holds true. A through Z are the
only keys which are case sensitive... and the @bk when used with "equals" in
filePro will return as true for either upper or lower case letters. As Joe
Chason and almost everyone else pointed out, COMPARE would discern the
difference. I (and most others) just think that would be a little cumbersome
to use with @bk... unless you really wanted a different behavior for lower
case and upper case. It's hard enough to get users to press the right key
let alone asking them to understand you mean little a versus cap A.

As for this equality test being "wrong|WRONG" or anything else you want to
call it that means it's broken... well, as always and once again, this is
just according to the Jay Ashworth "I could have done it better..."
syndrome. If you want a filePro that works your way, go design it. If you
were EVER to accomplish this, EVER... I will be the first one to buy it,
praise you for it and apologize for all the times I've said you don't have
even 1/4th the skill set necessary to do it. And if you don't remember me
saying this in the past. Let this be the first time. Stop saying you can do
things, or know how to do
things better than they have been done by others... when you so obviously
can't.
