That won't really be a problem for us, as these are going to be
standard, stripped down servers.  We access filePro through PCs using
Anzio with ANSI emulation.

Rarely do I ever tinker with the kernel.  I've done it in the past while
experimenting with hardware, but these servers all have fairly standard
hardware, and nothing oddball in them.  I don't even run any kind of X
on them.
