The main problem being that RH9 is EOL, and therefore no longer being

As I recall, it had to do with displaying correctly, and some 1l8n
settings.

SuSE 9.0 is my recommendation. I would avoid 9.1 for now because it's
based on the 2.6 kernel that is far too new and tempermental for production
work yet. It's also just plain spankin' new itself by about a month and a
half. Wait five months on 9.1 yet, give or take.

You mean what do they build it on? Or what are they recommending? So long
as you install libtermcap (.so.2) and have glibc 2.1 or later, it shouldn't
really matter what you run it on, to my knowledge. Those are the only
requirements I'm aware of. The libtermcap wasn't always an issue. I think
that came about at 5.0.13, when they had to recompile it dynamically to get
around an issue or two. I want to say .10 or .13, but I think can't
remember which.
