upgrading to 5.0.13 (was Re: Why?)

I just tried downloading 05.0.13. Downloaded the license file into the
\fp\license directory. The install started and then told me that: "Splash.
FullDev is 0 Length so the license information is invalid." So much for
upgrading to 05.0.13.

 Inter-twined Outlook text reply

Remember, today is the beginning of a six day holiday in Michigan
(Tues. & Wed. are for recuperation).

If you knew us well, you would not think us odd.

Depends on which subject is on for the week.

Right on!

Secret stuff, eh?

It may 'ave been too short.

 Maybe.

No, but the rest of us get very confused by 111,856 Re:Why messages.

 > Or maybe I'm the only one who is curious about such things?

You should have left the subject as just plain Re: Why?

After the 4th., hopefully, everyone will be busy again and the forum
will return to abnormal (that assumes normal has been this week). :-)

I have, as have several of my customers.

I don't recall furnishing a hard drive serial # in the past year or
so to obtain upgrades or new runtimes for 5.0.13. I believe that
requirement has changed.

An authorization code is assigned which you download to the
\FP\license folder which is looked to during the install.

Anyway, have a bang up celebration of our succession from the mother
country.
