Many laptops that new come with built-in wireless. You may have to 
enable them with a function key sequence (Toshiba FN-F8 perhaps? HP FN-F2?)

I am using this as a switch/router right now and I'd recommend it in a 
heartbeat..

To bad Micro$oft got out of the home networking biz this last year. 
Their stuff (2002-3 era) came with completely foolproof wizards. 
Whomever wrote them, obviously ended up as the example of what 
Longhorn's look and feel should be.
