No argument there.  Kentucky is a beautiful state, but the weather -sucks-.
Not that Milwaukee can't get hot, but you'll really notice the 20F
difference from the lake--even with the humidity.  The river is enough to
give us humidity, but not enough for the air conditioner effect.

Gee, maybe I should watch "The Day After Tomorrow" this evening. :) Global
warming is just a bad joke around this household.  But yeah, I'd love to
live further north again.  Actually, at the moment, I'd settle for 4-wheel
drive.  Every car rental agency was out, and the only cab company that's
open is only taking people to the airport, to work, or to the hospital.
That's it.  Looks like a mile+ walk to Target to try and get some rock
salt or kitty litter.  I know they have the latter.  Something has to
work.  It's surely not going to melt though--it's supposed to hit near zero
tonight.  It's already down to 17F or so, and it's not really supposed to
get warmer till Sunday.
