I've been looking at IBM laptops recently, and the ``G'' series looks
interesting, and doesn't have the touchpad. At this point my old ThinkPad
600 is still working fine although some keys tend to be sticky. I'm having
a hard time deciding whether to get another ThinkPad or to an iBook or
PowerBook from Apple.
I'm sorta leaning towards a 14in iBook with their ``SuperDrive'', and 1GB
of RAM. I would probably plug this into my KVM switch while in my office
to take advantage of the 21in Nokia monitor, and it would replace a 450MhZ
G4 tower.
