It's possible that they include an emulator that captures DOS output
and redirects it to the printer, but that's something that would have
to have been supplied by Canon.  (ie: some dumb printers include a
utility to capture PCL output from DOS programs, and convert it to
something that the printer understands.)  However, the specs on the
web page usually indicate something like that.

You can always try capturing the port to LPT2, and then trying something
like "dir >lpt2".

If that works for you, then you're all set.  Just remember that you
can't do any fancy formatting, and will only have plain text.
