You can't print to a BJC-6000 printer from DOS.

The problem here is not the USB port, it's the lack of brains on the
printer. You could tell filePro to print to "\\hpdesktop\canon", and
filePro will send its output there. The problem is that the printer
is too dumb to do anything with the output once it got there.

According to Canon, the following "printers" are too dumb to support
printing from DOS programs:

	BJC-55
	BJC-85
	BJC-1000 Series
	BJC-2000 Series
	BJC-2100 Series
	BJC-3000 Series
	BJC-5000 Series
	BJC-6000
	BJC-8000
	BJC-8200
	BJC-8500
	S400
	S450
	S500
	S600, S630, S630 Network
	S800

Current versions of filePro include something called "fp2rtf", which
allow you to print to an RTF file, and then use a program called Atlantis
to print the RTF file.

I do not know if that will work with the 4.8 DOS version.
