The approach I'd take would be to look in the .zip that it originally came
in (I assume it was a .zip) for all DLL's, then do a find for files on each
one on a system that's still working, then extract them and put them into
place on the broken systems.

Of course, if they need DLL -registration- with the OS, that may be
problematic, but probably 95% of the time plus you don't really have to
register DLL's.  Very few programs ever seem to actually do that.
Generally only M$ stuff, and I remember ICQ used to do it.
