showlock question

That's the PID of the process holding the lock.

For human-readable information you need my script "lock.info".
Here, esecuting "lock.info custfile" returns:

     filePro File: custfile
    Record Number: 1
             User: bob
              TTY: ttyp2
              PID: 17678
    Command:
    dclerk custfile -sX -y -z

It works on SCO UNIX and on Linux (requiring the KornShell) and
interprets the outputs of "showlock" and "ps" to return the info
such as above.

It may be in the filepro directory of Jean-Pierre Radley's ftp
site (ftp.jpr.com).  I can email it to you, if not found there.
