What is better? fpsql or MySql

Value? Well, uh, no.
fpSQL is a toolset. A read-only toolset. Apples/Oranges type comparison.

fpSQL is more like a read only version of phpMyAdmin, minus about 95% of 
the functionality.

(as I write that, if fpSQL would export native .xls and .xml files, 
fpSQL would be indeed a very worthwhile investment for many more developers)

On the other hand, fpODBC does work pretty good with MySQL.
