Don't sell yourself short, the most valuable use of this for me for anyone
using anzio as their client, is to send the ANZIO variable, so that winstart
can send the right escape sequence! Currently I have to just blindly send a
sequence that I hope only anzio will react to, and won't bother any other
terminals, and will work fast enough that users won't have injected any
keystrokes, and then perform a timed read and hope anzio will always react
within that time, which as I meantioned I must try to keep as short as
possible... all in /etc/profile
Now I can bag all that and it'll be more efficient, smoother perceptually
for the user, and more reliable all at the same time.
pfpt/printer etc... I set according to a more dynamic method by determining
at login if the user is coming from a lan ip or not.
Same laptop with the same def file will do the right thing both in and out
of the office all by itself.
