I have not checked the menus - they use "Menu Maestro". I never
use /fp/rclerk but I include /appl/fp within PATH and I have
no problem with this.

The additional PATH directories are not ~/fp installs. These
directories are just repository for shell scripts and/or
application specific programs. I am going back and check
how many others of the filePro family are there.
I too use scripts to switch between versions but not versions
of filePro but applications. I simply change variables to point
to a different directory where application files are kept but
always use same filePro version/binaries. Well, I guess I have
not have the need to support more than one version on a single
server but can see where this may be a possibility (having two or
more customers and they are not all par with filePro version).
