permission problems with filepro application

I believe so.  If you'll remember, I went off here a bit about half a
year ago, maybe more, when I was on about export, open, and installation
default permissions after one too many systems audits with fP present
frustrated me.  :(

After much public argument, I finally relented and followed channels and
submitted a formal report to fP-Tech.  I believe it was included in that
laundry list.  I believe I also CC'd the formal report to the list, if
memory serves.  It'd be easier to just resubmit it, although I also
submitted a full wishlist item through a member of the advisory council,
and said item should have contained the equivalent of "full evalutation of
default file creation modes".  This would mean installation as well, not
just runtime.

I -believe- I've followed through twice, in this regard, through two
separate channels.
