Note that error 53 ("network path not found") is different from
error 3 ("path not found").

filePro neither knows nor cares about anything called "config.nt" and
"autoexec.nt". The question is not whether filePro uses them, but
whether Windows uses them.
In any case, I would have to check if the Windows version uses PFFILES,
as the 20 file limit was a DOS thing.

Since the error is specifically network-related, I would start looking
there. If you copy things locally and point PFPROG there, do you get
the error?
