I don't, actually, think you do, Joe.  Even with DTMF DID, the digits
are usually passed, TTBOMK, *before* the wink acknowledge; that is, the
trunk is not actually off hook yet, because your terminal equipment
doesn't ack the call until it gets the number of DID digits it's
expecting.

I could be wrong.

I believe Faxguy has done this somewhere; I expect he'll chimiin in if
I'm right.

What sort of terminal equipment *are* you terminating the span into?
Your PBX, as a couple other posters noted, may have some facility for
extending DID to a "virtual" group destination and delivering it as
CNID.  If you can't find that out about your switch, get me the model
and software rev; I Have Contacts<tm>.
