The manufacturer/reseller of your phone system should be able to point
you to a converter that will give the same two wire analog output to a
telephone or modem as you get at your home telephone. The converter
should be attached to the digital extension line between the telephone
system and the modem. Also, a DID number is assigned to a specific
extension line in your telephone system. Just make sure that is the line
that your modem(and converter) is attached to. Then you probably will
have to prefix the outgoing dial with a "9" or something like that but
incoming calls will ring directly to that line and be picked up by the
modem.
