selection set being ignored on command line?

I know you got an answer for this question... about a dozen before we're
done... so great... BUT... I was about to answer something completely
different because of your post...... You will see that you wrote...

I was mystified because this would be very hard to do unless you somehow did
it yourself in processing... which I doubt very much... you show the
filename as being "postpick", when really it would be constructed through
filepro as "sel.postpick" (or "postpick.sel" in Windows).  So, I was going
to waste time by asking you how you made the file without the extension and
so forth. I hdn't even gotten to the part in your message that showed the
command line with the superfluos -a.  So, anyway, just wanted to tell you to
be specific (even more so than yuo already were :-) when sending up
errors... because that is what the diagnostic process is all about...
especially when things are supposed to work as advertised... It is the
minutiae that count.
