My guess is that he copied and pasted the list from Outlook, where
semicolon is the separator, instead of a sane comma.

One nice thing is that you can change the sender address on the fly, so you
can easily use it in multiple roles without multiple configuration files.
In fact, Lightmail uses -no- configuration files. :)

www.fairlite.com/fc/products/lightmail/ in the interest of saving someone
hunting. I haven't gotten around to making a lightmail.fairlite.com yet.
Probably should. *makes mental note*

cat [files] |mutt -s "subject here" [-a attachment] recipient [recipient...]
Mutt has a -h option to display help.
The problem looks to me more a matter of incorrectly assembling the
command, than it is the program itself. I'd bet that something isn't
quoted with literal quotes, and that's why addresses are being made with a
default domain name--probably by the MTA on the system.
And if one does that, one will have problems whether one uses mail, mutt,
lightmail, pine, elm, etc. Doesn't matter what tool you use if your
basic command assembly is flawed. Based on what I saw, I think his is.
