It would be nice if I could train our cat (an futile task) to hit the speed
dial for Puget Sound Energy when the power goes out here. I've learned to
hit that one in the dark, natch.

It is practically impossible to teach good programming style to
students that have had prior exposure to BASIC: as potential
programmers they are mentally mutilated beyond hope of
regeneration.
