On Sun, Aug 01 17:20 , John Esak, showing utter disregard for
spell-checkers gave us this:
> I'm being black-listed... so I'm trying to figure a way around it...
> Bare with me... that's why it says OT...
You aren't being black-listed here.
BUT - I've seen 5 or 6 of your test emails.
I'm looking at them in the spool area on my machine.
The one with the text 'second test' - left your machine
about 11:52AM Sunday morning, and arrived at celestial.com
seven minutes later.
Those are in the headers and there is no way to know that both
machines were synchronized to a master clock and the transport
headers aren't there to show if there was any delay.
It was delivered to the filepro-list machine about 20 minutes
later. However it appears it didn't get sent from the
filepro-list-bounces until about 1PM EST today [Monday].
However looking at the headers of the email it is coming from
an address with no reverse lookups 209.173.24.17.
The link above that is a ptd.net connection to nexus.
Sending from a machine that has no reverse lookups means that
many places will drop your eamil on the floor.
I suspect the delay at celestail would be that Bill had to manually
verify the message was OK.
You need to get pdt.net to set up a reverse lookup on any IPs
from which you are going to transmit mail.
That's what I'm seeing.
