An Alien filePro file mapped to overlay the two files would
allow deleting a record in the main file and writing it to
an archive file with the filePro 20-byte header intact.

If a field "Date_Archived" was added to the files before
this was implemented, a process run on the main file could
fill in that date for all records selected to be archived,
then the process on the Alien file would move those records
to the archive file.  Or, if that might change @BD and @UB,
and you didn't want to do that, if the criteria for selecting
records to be archived was based on a field in the record,
the selection could be made by the process on the Alien file.
