A bunch of us were playing around with Einsteinian equations in the FP Room
today. It got boring and tiresome for our great minds pretty quick so we
turned our attention to the latest crisis at Nexus. A bunch of records got
corrupted with /OV as their content. They were 8,.0 fields and the idea was
to find them quickly with a selection set. Sure it can be done in two
seconds and two lines with a processing table.... but that wouldn't have
taunted our great minds, would it? Tony Rice, Brian K. White, myself, a
couple others... and it took many minutes of fun to determine the best way
to do this... So what is your solution? How would you do this? Either throw
your brilliance up here on the list... or come to the room and have some fun
with us.

will take you to the room. Have a microphone if you want to talk otherwise
you'll have to type everything you have to say... yechh..
The first and pretty cool idea was from Brian... very nifty trick... I went
crazy because this was the very way I had done it about 5 years ago... I
just could _not_ remember it. Then Ken White reminded me that there was
another way from long, long ago and it is very cool, too. So, take up the
challenge, what's your way... and is it cooler, more elegant, better,
brighter, smarter than Brian's.... probably not... certainly nothing as
purely amazing as Ken White's method... you won't believe this one... :-)
Of course, I being the Milton Berle of filePro have already stolen all the
ideas and attributed them to myself. :-)
Come visit the FP Room... open 24/7 between 9am and 11pm EST will usually
find you some people chatting about filePro... it can not be beat.
