array limits

Since I have not necessarily populated every element I'm not sure
but I routinely define (9999)(120,*) arrays and never have had a
problem. I believe it is memory dependant. I have NEVER seen a
limit on the quantity of arrays and have many tables with 30 to 50
arrays in them, although only 2 or 3 may have a defination like above.
I have no idea what kind of overhead mapping against a lookup
incurres BUT I almost always have an array mapped against MANY of my
lookups thru field (999) so I never have to adjust them when I add
fields... This may be very minimal compared to arrays as in the 1st
paragraph above.
