I sent myself (another...it wasn't like I started using it untested) test
email, and analysed its structure against the structure of one the list has
gotten hold of and mangled.  While I was doing this just looking at the
attachment tree layout in mutt, and not using Outlook or OE, I do entirely
believe you're 100% correct, based on the MIME layout as the list server
should receive it, and how it comes out the other end.

In the interim, at least, until Bill weighs in on what may or may not
happen with the signature, I'll just disable PGP signing while I'm in this
folder.  If the signature/mangler situation stays, then I'll keep it that
way permanently.

I apologise to anyone for whom I may have made it more difficult to read my
messages in the last day.  I had no idea until someone said something, as
my mail reader happens to handle it quite gracefully.  Thanks Brian, as I'd
never have noticed had you not spoken up.
